In gist it said one of the biggest misconceptions a President/CEO/CFO can make is thinking that they have the answer…that they have the answer. As a Pres, it’s your job to be the visionary…but that doesn’t qualify you to have the answer. CEO’s execute the visionary’s vision. CFO’s manage the funding for the execution.

So if you fall into one of these 3 titles, & you don’t have the answer (which, apparently, will eventually be the case), who does?

Welp, the simple answer is…someone else. Some outsider, usually.

If you hold one or more of the aforementioned titles, you should view your job as getting the answer…necessarily coming up w/ the answer. Follow?

This time, I wanna set up a Group Tumblog for projects & studying purposes that will be helpful & thought provoking & fun to look back on…

I just like blogging…& frankly, I’ll do a group blog, w/basically anyone for almost any reason. I like collaboration. The artist in me just loves the idea of many minds coming together for one interesting project. I like to see different points of view (& point of views) on the same shit.

That’s also why I’m willing to work on music w/anyone I find musically interesting…doesn’t matter the genre…I don’t think there’s a genre I haven’t played yet…

I also went to a vocational high school, concurrently, my last year, as well (so, technically 5).

I can say, I understand something very important in hindsight. Teachers would make you feel bad for being smart or creative.

Hackeneyed. Are you familiar w/that word? I had a teacher teach the class the incorrect way to pronounce this word. Now, she wasn’t teaching me this word…I learned it in the 6th grade. So, I pointed out, rather politely (& privately at herdesk) that she was wrong. She told me to sit down, then her country ass called me out. Lol. The short & sweet is, she tried to play me, made a bet, then had her foot in her mouth when I opened the dictionary. Smh.

At my vocational h.s. we used to write & read something uplifting to start the day. When it was my turn, I had the word “ergo” somewhere in it. This teacher tried to debate me to dumb it down because she didn’t know the meaning of the word. I refused. She suggested that maybe I should use a word more familiar to the listeners. I suggested that maybe she should put more faith in the listeners to use context clues, their brains, or a dictionary. When all was said & done, it was left intact.

But damn…#Word?

& it happened so much. The only h.s. I can think of that didn’t do ha shit was Clarkston.
